Understanding E-Liquid: PG/VG, Strengths, and Bottle Sizes

September 11, 2026

E-liquid labels are full of numbers and ratios. Here's what they actually mean.

PG vs VG

Propylene glycol (PG) and vegetable glycerin (VG) are the two base ingredients. Higher PG tends toward a sharper throat feel and carries flavor; higher VG produces more vapor and a smoother draw. Many liquids blend the two.

Nicotine strengths

Strength is listed in mg/mL (or as a percentage). Devices are generally paired with a strength range — higher-power setups usually use lower strengths, compact pod devices often use higher ones. Staff can point you to the range that matches your hardware.

Bottle formats

Freebase liquids often come in larger bottles for refillable tanks; salt-based liquids commonly come in smaller bottles suited to pod devices.

Bring your device in and we'll match it to a format and strength that make sense.
