Bacteriostatic water comes in several vial sizes. The best fit depends on how much diluent you need and how quickly you will use it.
The smallest common format. Suited to a single small task where only a tiny volume of diluent is needed and there is no reason to keep a larger vial open.
A compact middle option. Enough for a few uses while still being manageable within the preserved window after opening.
A larger multi-use vial. Most economical per mL and convenient when reconstituting multiple compounds or peptides over its usable period - provided it is used within that window rather than sitting open too long.
Match the size to your expected volume and timeline. A larger vial only saves money if you use it before it should be discarded; otherwise a smaller size avoids waste.
