Vape Battery Safety: Handling, Charging, and Storage

Most vape devices run on lithium-ion batteries. Treated well they're reliable for a long time; treated carelessly they can fail. A few habits go a long way.

Charging

• Use the charger or cable designed for your device.
• Don't leave devices charging unattended overnight.
• Unplug once fully charged.

Storage & handling

• Keep loose batteries in a case — never loose in a pocket or bag with keys or coins.
• Avoid extreme heat, including a hot car.
• Retire any battery with torn wrapping or visible damage.
